Officials in Weymouth are arming parents with more information on opiates, part of the town's fight against drug abuse.
Weymouth received a $900 Community Health Network Alliance grant, which will pay for a community guide on drug and opiate prevention to be drawn up and printed.
Last year, information on opiates was sent out with every water bill, reaching 15,000 homeowners.

After the sentencing, defense attorney Jon Delaney told reporters that Riley was trying to spare her daughter, who is charged with first-degree murder along with three others.
Delaney said part of the deal for the mother is that the daughter, 17-year-old LeShelle McBride, will be offered a sentencing deal of six to 20 years for second-degree murder.
Prosecutors declined comment on Delaney's claim about the mother-daughter deal.

VALPARAISO | Mayor Jon Costas named 37 people Friday to serve on Valparaiso's Substance Abuse Task Force to develop ways of fighting alcohol and drug abuse along with its consequences to the community.
One more is expected to be named.

A 50-year-old Victoria man convicted of trying to kill his ex-wife and her common-law husband has died in a single-car crash in Saanich.
Robert Bruce Cuthbert was behind the wheel of a 1989 Toyota Tercel stationwagon when it went off the road and into a concrete retaining wall off Interurban Road near Quayle Road on Jan. 20.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.

Sixty-seven fifth graders at Berlin Elementary School received their diplomas from the DARE Program on Friday, January 29.
D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through twelfth grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.
The lessons are led by a law enforcement officer – in Rensselaer County by Sheriff's Deputy Jim Phelps.
